Christians Must Bear Fruit Don't be deceived by ministry wealth and popularity. Noah did not have many followers. Neither did Elijah. Take a look at some of the contradictory works of the “prosperity prophets” of our day who have large audiences and great financial support. Kenneth and Gloria Copeland both had divorces: Fornication and adultery. He should never have been accepted as a minister, let alone her! Oral Roberts overlooked sexual immorality and misplaced an adulterer for an officer; compromise always destroys standard bearing. His training institution also went into debt (a tool of the NWO). Such schools usually apply to state diversity propaganda rather than encourage biblical, equality and national heir principles. Take a look at the some of the other immorality preachers and teachers with unworthy financial support. |
Offerings: Links Loving One Another: Acceptable Offering Many erring churches condone and promote legalized adultery (remarriage) and fornication. Another deception some are supporting is that the Jewish are as an inherited group of people of Israel (without acceptable genetics and genealogy) equivalent to the ancient Hebrews. These misconceptions are deceptions—not true. Therefore, even though I love people, including heretics, and care about them, I have to separate from them and would not give them one penny. It would be a sin to partake of their misleading and evil. Christians are followers of the Hebrew firstfruits (who are physically extinct now) and our lives must be holy unto God. However, I would and do pray for enlightenment be given to the people of God and repentance of sinners. God can raise believers (II Timothy 2:15) to rebuke (I Timothy 5:20) and correct failing people or churches. There is only one church--the body of believers in Jesus Christ the Lord. No one that believes in Jesus needs a membership in a religious organization: believers are the church. Even though religious organizations may not change or repent of their heresies, people of God can find a way to support the truth. If a person seeks God, He can show him how to use his life and possessions for Him. Approved Christians will support truth and speak openly even at the risk of losing a friend; not suppress fables and damnable, illicit marriage lies. They will acknowledge God's commandments and discern between true and false, good and evil. They will trust in God and give light unto the path of the pilgrim for Jesus. Mt. 10:9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. (KJV) The laborers were expected to await provision among the people: not to provide for themselves (Matthew 10:10). Notice how contrarily Benny Hinn and other evangelists with multi-million dollar homes have not only provided for themselves, but very extravagantly. Also, they have not understood the principles of marriage and kept the people from sexual immorality. Devastation awaits their ignorant followers as the blind fall into the ditch. I believe if people give for the right reasons, they will not make heretics nor wealth-motivated unbelievers rich. Actually, faithful givers must learn the Scriptures and support God's purposes if they serve Him. They must know how to give and supplement the work of the more learned ministers of God who care for their posterity and souls. It is the duty of believers to support their elders. Blessing of giving and receiving without hypocrisy may be accomplished. 1 Timothy 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. (KJV) The Apostle Paul was a selfless man that worked with his own hands for his sustenance. He was not contradicting the right of a faithful servant to accept offerings from followers. Rather, he gave an example that ministers do not even need anything from the people to do their work for God. Greedy and false ministers cannot happily follow his example. However, the people by their gratuity righteously expand (1 Cor.16:2) the ministry. I Cor. 4:11

hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

Tithe or offering suggestion: You could save an amount to contribute to the development of a group community. Study biblical precepts and workout your model. An effort to establish righteousness would be better than giving to a known, erring organization. |
