Recovery
from Sexual Destruction (A woman once defiled cannot marry
another
man)
Adultery
and fornication
recovery is possible for anyone, especially for Christians.
We live in a world of God-mocking
churches and peoples. One thing that brings God's vengeance upon
people and prevents them from inheriting the kingdom of God is
illicit sex (Gal. 5-19:22). In order to please God, people must
have faith in God and practice things that are acceptable
to him.
A
virgin has a physical state that is not in conflict with God's law
of
marriage. If she has faith in God, He can bless her in marriage
and all other things. Contrarily, God cannot bless unclean
sex of a defiled
woman, and this is a problem the modern churches and heretics
have
failed to administer direction and correction properly. Churches
ought to teach sanctification
through
faith and works following, not idle, lip service and tolerance of
uncleanliness.
Conduct
of such women ought to be directed toward self-denial of romance
and sexual abstinence. A defiled woman ought not even think
about romance without chastity (or a marriage of “knowing”
only
one man). As far as exceptions to the general rule, there may be
occasions when a woman has been defiled by a man but her father or
guardian decides to give
her in marriage
to him realizing her virginity was taken by the same man and she
“knew”
not
any other man. Dowry
brides, in the Old Testament, were as such at times also.
Otherwise, giving up the idea of dating or romantically sharing
with a man is a beginning of recovery.
When
a person concurs a car accident, hypothetically if it is a woman,
she may suffer great mental and physical damage. Even if she
survives the car wreck, she may have to live with lasting
injuries. Sometimes the damages can be alleviated through therapy.
It is the same way with fornication damage, the female has to live
with the injury and make the best of her life afterward even
without advantages of physical and spiritual graces once
possessed.
After
a woman has been defiled does not mean that she cannot have faith
in God and live for Him. If she has a desire to please God and a
will to practice things in mental, moral, intellectual and
physical aspects that are acceptable unto Him, she can live a
happy single life. Even as in the erring in some aspects but
having some edifying points, non-canonical book The
Shepherd of Hermas
(at
Mandate
4, 1[29]:1),
a man ought not look upon a woman in the wrong way: likewise a
defiled woman should not even consider having romance with a man.
So
to simplify, recovery of a defiled woman requires the desire to
separate
from any form of sexual uncleanliness, including any desire for a
romantic relationship. Self-denial
is required. Having faith in God
and seeking His will is the proper resolve to add many blessings
and a fulfilling life of singleness. Women can manage well their
eating habits with diet knowledge, self-denial and self-control.
Scripture-following, psychological and physical self-control
(self-denial) is necessary to establish a life of singleness and
purity. A male may have to establish good practices after
separation (I Cor. 7:27)
also.
A
carnal act and loss of a woman's chastity through fornication
or adultery
(innocent
or not)
is costly and destructive, but still cannot prevent self-denial,
self-control (crucifying
the flesh with the affections and lusts—Galatians 5:24),
longsuffering (Gal. 5:22), God's love and purity from shining
forth when recovery and spiritual healing is sought.
Christians
must bear
fruit
for Jesus!
A
lovely woman with wisdom will give hope to others through her life
and acts of purity.
