STIGMA DOWNSIZING
(Cultural Pollution and Community Building Block Destruction)

Stigma downsizing is erroneous, detrimental to society and a sign of a deteriorating culture. John the Baptist reproved Herodias the adulteress. She had him beheaded. This is an example of the unrighteous discriminating against the righteous. The unrighteous, Herodias, overlooking her own fault, had the political influence to pollute the community culture by taking vengeance against the prophet (and morality).

Christians live in a deteriorating society in the USA also. Our once established laws against adultery are no longer enforced. Society has chosen its own standards, not God's. This will only end in collapse. A house divided against itself cannot stand. When King David and Solomon established a righteous empire, they themselves personally detoured the moral commandment and overlooked (downsized) the stigma of sexual sin. It was very costly to the community as a whole. Sexual morality and obedience to God's law is a building block to civilized and superior community living.

The early Christians of Jerusalem recognized the concept of moral community and reverence unto God. When they evangelized the nations they brought people who lived in inferior and sinful communities unto a righteous and superior way of living. The Christian of today should seek and associate with brothers and sisters who want to live righteously, not those who draw back and condone immorality. Globalism has made it a point to destroy community building blocks. We must realize the nationalistic benefit of homogeneous community.
